May - Jul - Grant becomes online tutor for Design for Ageing course as part of the Materrs of Ageing at Melbourne University


Feb - Nov - Grant Donald Commences Masters of Ageing at University of Melbourne. 
March - Grant Donald achieves Specialist Certificate of Ageing from Melbourne University 
Feb - December - Grant Donald takes a position with Curtin University as a Design Studio tutor

November - Grant Donald to give a desktop roundtable presentation to an audience at AAG National Conference in Brisbane, Australia.

October - Grant invited to New York to accept a Center for Active Design Excellence Award for the design work on Wanshou Park, Beijing, PRC.

September  - Silk Tree International wins a design Excellence Award from the Center for Active Design New York, USA.

June - Grant has meetings with Melville City Council, Perth, Western Australia re open space networks, Parks for the elderly and aged care facilities.

June - Grant invited to speak at the 13th International Federation on Ageing Global Conference in Brisbane, Australia.

April - Texas A&M University invite Grant to the University to give a lecture to the students and to review some of the work they have been doing in Africa

April - Grant speaks at an environments for aging conference in Austin, Texas, USA

November - Washington , Grant speaks at aging and Society Conference where he talks about Silk Trees vision for open space and parklands.

November - Washington DC, Grant meets with the Institute of Gerontology at the University of the District of Columbia to discuss Silk Trees work and the Institutes projects.

July - Silk Tree International wins International design competition for the redevelopment of Shanghai Botanic Gardens, Shanghai PRC.

June - Grant is asked to speak at the International make cities livable conference in Bristol, UK on the need to provide Active spaces for the elderly.

May - Grant provides expert input into the Union of International Architects, Public Health Group forum on Health and Hospital Design Dalian, PRC!2015-seminar/cs8k

April - Grant attends the Greater and Greener annual Conference in San Francisco, USA, where he talks about his design works with the elderly and aged care facilities

August - Silk Tree International asked to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the CNCA (China National Committee on Ageing) re design and consultancy input into Aged Care development across China.

September - Silk Tree International shortlisted as a finalist in the Australia China Business Awards

September - Silk Tree invited to United States by Disney Imagineering to discuss Shanghai Disneyland and to meet key Imagineering staff in Los Angeles and Orlando

March - Silk Tree staff move into new offices in Pudong, Shanghai

January - Wanshou Park Beijing featured in Australia China Connections
